Health, Safety and Environment Committee
The Health, Safety and Environment Committee assists the Board in formulating the Group's health, safety and environment policies as they affect the Groups operations, including monitoring compliance with national and international standards and reviewing management's investigations of incidents or accidents that occur in order to assess whether policy improvements are required.
The Company's Health, Safety and Environment Committee is composed of four members, one of whom is an independent Non Executive Director (namely David Netherway). The other members of the committee are Executive Directors (namely Mr Kanat Assabauyev, Mr. Aidar Assaubayev and Mrs. Marussya Assaubayeva). The Chairman of the Health, Safety and Environment Committee is David Netherway.
The Health, Safety and Environment Committee meet formally at least twice a year and otherwise as required.
